Our 2020 goal is to connect with as many Etsy shop owners as possible and share their handmade business with our readers across our blog, social, and/or email platforms. One of the ways we plan to do this is through our new series Goodshop Saturday where we’ll highlight an Etsy Shop (or other small business) through an interview-style blog post.
We’re sharing this service to Etsy shop owners free of charge at our discretion to encourage readers to both create with their own hands as well as to seek handmade shops when making purchases.
We may also use your answers in other blogs and articles with a link back to you, offering you even more exposure to the planning and creative communities.

These interview questions are recorded through a Google form. This will require you to have a Gmail account. If you do not have a Gmail account, please reach out to us here.
Frequently Asked Questions
So you’re willing to share about my shop on your platforms for free?
The team at Goodstuffmama.com is all about creating and believes that whenever possible, we should support small creative businesses. Shopping small businesses supports local communities, diversifies products, and can create a real economic impact if we’re all intentional about where we buy our goods. We don’t believe that handmade is a dying art. We believe that handmade LIVES inside all of us, it just takes a little more effort to produce and willingness to seek it out.
What questions will you ask me?
The interview questionnaire provides several opportunities for you to discuss both your shop and your passion. You choose which questions you answer, answer them all if you’d like, or only answer the ones that appeal to you most. In order to provide a robust article on your shop, you’ll need to answer a minimum of 8 open-ended questions.
When will my interview publish?
The GSM team publishes interviews with shop owners as space is available and at our total discretion. Should we use your answers to create an interview-style article to showcase your shop to our community, you’ll be sent an email. You’re encouraged to share the article with your social media fans, email list, etc.
How else will my information be used?
We may use some of your answers within other blog posts, with credit back to you, offering you even more exposure. We’ll also add you to our email list, which you can opt-out of at any time. We will not rent, sell, or share any of your information.
Will I get to edit my article?
Our publishing schedule does not include a pre-approval/edit task for our shop owners, however, we’re happy to make a couple of small edits after the interview publishes, if you see something you’d like to change. We will always represent our shop owners in the best light. To make sure that your voice shines through, provide as much information as possible in your interview questionnaire.
