I had my eyes on this Here’s the Scoop stamp set from Concord and 9th long before I finally pulled the trigger and made the purchase. It’s just so darn cute!
Today I’m sharing my take on the basic Happy Birthday Card using the Here’s the Scoop stamp set.

Here’s the Scoop Birthday Card Supplies Needed
- Here’s the Scoop Stamp Set
- Here’s the Scoop Dies
- Distress Ink or Markers in: Picked Raspberry, Peacock Feathers, Mowed Lawn, Seedless Preserves and Spiced Marmalade
- Distress Ink Blenders
- Watercolor Paper – Scrap big enough to stamp the ice cream bowl on to
- Thick White Carstock 4.25X5.5 card front and 4.25X5.5 card folded
- Misti Stamping Tool (optional but helpful)
- Acrylic Block
- Water and Small paint brushes
Here’s the Scoop Birthday Card Supplies Needed
- Start by stamping your ice cream bowl image on to watercolor paper
- Next, use distress inks mixed with water to pain the ice cream scoops, set aside to dry
- Then use distress inks to create a two tone background. To make it more fun, don’t get too serious about the blending techniques
- Stamp your Sentiment “Happy Birthday” on to the front of the card
- Using your die cut machine, cut the ice cream bowl
- Adhere the Ice Cream bowl to the front of your card. You could pop it up with tabs or adhere it flat with a tape runner
- Stamp your inside sentiment
- Adhere the card front to the card
